Physical Therapy

Dry Needling

Similar to traditional Chinese acupuncture, though based on a different philosophy, the “dry” in dry needling refers to the fact that there is no medication or injection attached to the needle. Small acupuncture-like needles are placed into muscles at various locations throughout all parts of the body including trigger points, homeostatic points, and along nerve roots and pathways. Dry needling can be combined with electrical stimulation to create a more powerful effect that is useful not only for pain-relief, but also for increased recovery and even performance enhancement.

Cupping

Different than most forms of hands-on therapy, cupping, or myofascial decompression, is a complementary therapy that uses small silicone or plastic cups to create a suction effect over the skin and muscle. As most forms of massage and soft-tissue work involve applying pressure and pressing into muscles, cupping is a novel stimulus that separates tissue and is often tolerated better by people who do not respond well to massage-like treatments. Cups can be placed and left on (static cupping), can be dragged and moved over muscles, or can be placed and combined with movement (dynamic cupping).

IASTM

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, or scraping, is an alternative form of hands-on therapy that utilizes smooth, stainless steel instruments to decrease muscle tone and tension. Gentle pressure is applied to a painful or tight area, and the tools are swept over muscle groups in a flowing pattern. It can often be more comfortable than deep tissue work, as aggressive, sharp pressure is not needed to be effective.

Cost Transparency

You'll Never Get a Bill From Us Months Later After Your Visit

Unlike many physical therapy clinics- you won’t get any bills months following finishing PT. With Invictus Rx PT you will never be surprised by a bill you were not anticipating.

Relatability

We Understand the Demands of Your Life and/or Sport

We walk the talk! As physical therapists who exercise and participate in a large variety of activities/sports ourselves we understand what it takes. While many physicians and physical therapists will simply tell you to stop your desired activity we understand that avoiding the things that you enjoy most because of an injury is no way to live. Because of our background we know the importance of keeping you in the activities you love and we find ways to modify your training so you can stay in your sport throughout the rehab process.

Questions We Know You're Asking

Yes — and that’s why people come to us. Most of our clients have already been to a traditional PT clinic, or they’ve tried to piece things together with rest, Google, and advice from a chiropractor or doc who doesn’t train. If you’ve been told to “just stop squatting” or “it’s probably age,” you’re not alone.

At Invictus Rx, we do things differently. We take the time to understand your movement, your training style, and why your issue keeps coming back. Every session is one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. We don’t guess. We test, coach, and rebuild.

So if you’ve already tried all the typical routes and nothing’s changed — this is exactly where you’re supposed to be.

In most cases? No. We’re not here to pull you out of the gym. We’re here to help you stay in it, with less pain and better performance.

We believe rehab works best in motion. That means we’ll modify lifts, clean up your movement patterns, and give your body space to heal while you’re still doing what you love.

We’ll meet you where you’re at — whether that’s:
  • CrossFit
  • Olympic lifting
  • OrangeTheory
  • F45
  • Marathon training
  • Bootcamps or group fitness
…and we’ll build a plan that fits your goals, not someone else’s protocol. We don’t do one-size-fits-all rehab.

Unless your body needs a true reset (which is rare), we’ll keep you moving and guide you toward long-term strength. Because stopping isn’t the answer — moving smarter is.

This is nothing like insurance-based PT. No cookie-cutter programs, no crowded gyms, no being passed off to a tech with a stopwatch.

At Invictus Rx, you work one-on-one with your Doctor of Physical Therapy for the full session. We focus on results, not billing codes. That means full attention on your goals — whether you want to squat without pain, finish a triathlon, or just pick up your kid without your back yelling at you.

We use advanced techniques like dry needling, IASTM, cupping, and root-cause movement analysis, but more than that, we listen. We treat you like an athlete, not a case number. And because we’re out-of-network, we’re not limited by what insurance thinks is “medically necessary.”

This is real rehab for real people who actually want to get better. Call us at (208) 504-1895 or click to book now.
Dry needling is one of our go-to tools for a reason: when done right, it works fast and gets results that traditional approaches often miss.

It targets trigger points and overactive nerves in a way that hands alone can’t. For many of our clients, it helps reduce pain, restore mobility, and break the cycle of tension or stiffness in as little as one session. We often combine it with movement or electrical stimulation for even better results.

But it’s not a magic fix. It works best when paired with the right rehab plan and proper movement correction, which is exactly what we do.

If it makes sense for your body and your goals, we’ll use it. If not, we’ll use something better. You’ll never be pushed into anything unnecessary, and we’ll walk you through every step before we start.

We keep it clear, upfront, and stress-free. You’ll know exactly what you’re paying for before we get started: no surprise bills, no “extra charges,” and no random invoices months down the line.

Our rates are transparent and based on the time you spend with your PT. You’ll never be handed off to a tech or shoved into a group session. It’s one-on-one, expert-level care the entire time and that’s exactly what you’re paying for.

Because we’re out-of-network, we don’t bill insurance directly, but we can give you everything you need to submit for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits. If you’re unsure whether your insurance will reimburse you, we can walk you through that, too.
